Submitting your application documents
First, send us your complete and detailed documents using our secure application form. We are primarily interested in your CV, certificates, references, and salary expectations.
Confirmation of your application
To ensure that you don't have to constantly ask yourself whether your application has landed in our mailbox, we will, of course, send you a confirmation email. Now it's time to keep your fingers crossed!
Internal review
We will review your documents as soon as possible and discuss them internally. In general, we attach great importance to open and fast communication, so it won't be long until you hear from us!
Practical assessment (only for developers)
Although we naturally assume that you are highly qualified, we still would like to test your skills with a PHP or frontend test. You can complete this test from home. You will need about 2.5 hours to complete the test.
The first meeting
During an initial interview, you will usually get to know the head of the department and a member of the HR department ("People & Culture"). This allows us to get a first impression of you, and you have the opportunity to ask any relevant questions about your future job.
Invitation to the second round
In a second interview, you will meet the team in question, since we follow the hire-by-the-team concept. Therefore, it is possible that the size of the team may increase, but we're all really friendly and don't bite! Final hiring decisions are also made at team level. In some departments, you may be invited to a trial working day.
Receiving our decision
Finally done! Are you convinced? Are we convinced? You'll soon receive our final feedback, and all that's left for us to say is: Congratulations and welcome to the team!

How is the TechDivision structured?
TechDivision undertakes web development projects at its headquarters in Kolbermoor. Our subsidiary, TechDivision eConsulting, is responsible for providing consulting, strategy development, concept and design, as well as online marketing services.
How should I apply?
Mail in your application... just kidding! We are an online company and as such would prefer to communicate through email or via the online application form. Please note that this also applies to digital immigrants.
What should I wear to the interview?
For us, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable. If it means wearing a suit, you can wear one. Otherwise, everything is very straightforward. Since the pandemic, our interviews and meetings via Google Meet have been exceedingly successful, and we are confident that this trend will persist for the foreseeable future. These days, there is no difference between pajamas and "casual home wear" anyway.
How do I get to you?
We are a 5-minute walk away from the Kolbermoor train station. However, you can come to us by other means of transportation as well. There are places to park cars, bikes, and scooters right outside our door.
What strengths are required?
We value the ability to have fun and laugh loudly. We believe it's important to keep going even when things are not going well and to be open-minded. Does that apply to you?
Would you consider me without an A average?
Obviously, we're happy if you've had a lot of success at school, but what matters much more to us is your personality! Show us how amazing you are, what interests and inspires you, what goals you are pursuing in your life, and what your career aspirations are.
How is the onboarding process handled?
We determine together whether your onboarding will take place on site or remotely. Since March 2020, we have also been working hard to make our remote onboarding process as smooth as possible. It is especially important to us that our new colleagues feel comfortable and feel like an integral part of the team, even if the team is small and located in various cities.
If you opt to work remotely, the hardware and other essential documents will be dispatched to you via post before your first day, or alternatively, you may collect them from the office in person.
Regardless of whether you are remote or not, we will start the onboarding process as soon as you are accepted and will stay in contact several times until you start. You will have a mentor to help you get started with us, both professionally and personally. You will also have regular feedback meetings with your mentor during your probationary period.
What are the opportunities for promotion within TechDivision?
We don't have a typical career ladder because we have a flat hierarchy. However, there are, of course, managing directors and divisional managers, so this may be a potential future progression for you. We want to keep our staff growing, and to enable them to assume a new role within the team by engaging in exciting projects and gaining valuable professional expertise.
